Python Geospatial Development - Larz60+ - Jan-25-2017 Thought you might like to know: Python Geospatial Development - Third Edition for half price Hello, this packt book is available today for 50% off discount code J17##70ad635b40 I bought a copy, and on quick scan, it looks to be chock full of goodies, including a chapter on sources for raster, vector, GeoNetNameServer, and GNIS (Geographic Names Information System) RE: Python Geospatial Development - j.crater - Jan-27-2017 Thanks for the info. It's an atractive title, but reviews on Amazon aren't very favourable. Funny thing is 2nd edition has a lot more positive reviews. RE: Python Geospatial Development - Larz60+ - Jan-27-2017 I have read the first two chapters, and find it to have good coverage. So far, it appears to be well written. It's too early to really tell. |
