Surely it does.

Only... does it really need a more advanced proof that I am using py3 than I have already given? Or could it be time to think about why displaying farsi in tkinter works on some systems as it should, and on others only partially?

cmd == command line. It's the same.
I don't think I could be in help anymore. I usually don't touch Windows at all. Don't have it on my machine

it didn't work... Sad

RE: typing farsi (persian) in python - merlem - Feb-22-2017

Could you describe what you get? I myself see a window with farsi letters inside the window, only the title bar does not contain farsi but small boxes instead of letters. Is it the same for you? Or how does look what you see?

Seems you're the only one having a problem.
What are your system details,
what OS,
CPU make
Version of Python, etc.

He mentioned Win XP.
With all the updates after November 2012, Microsoft was fucking its own system in order to quicken the transition to Vista and Windows 7.

Wasn't that me, mentioning XP? :-o
(I tried to find some information about what OS gray is using but could not find some. Did I miss it?)
