Well i would recommend the following tutorials:
1. Microsoft Python Tutorial
2. w3schools - Python tutorial
3. Google's python class

RE: Python newbie - Larz60+ - Apr-30-2020

and my 10 cents worth:
https://www.python-course.eu/python3_course.php
https://runestone.academy/runestone/books/published/thinkcspy/index.html

you know Larz, i'm looking at this website you put: How to Think Like a Computer Scientist: Interactive Edition and i'm looking at the table of contents...and it's so long i'm feeling overwhelmed...as if just starting to read this is too much to handle..

i mean, even if i practice the bits and pieces - it kinda hard to learn something when you don't have something practical to shoot for...the assignments the websites gives you are very elementary, but how do you go from elementary/bits and pieces to whole programs ?

Proper software design requires knowledge, knowledge requires learning, for me always a pleasure.
What you absorb is up to you, perhaps the runestone tutorial would be better, because you only have to read what you are having an issue with at any given time, not take the entire course. then again, you can do same with How to think.
