Our Client is an ambitious funded startup from Amsterdam that is developing a unique location-based camera sharing app for iOS and Android. The iOS app takes photos, shares them with friends and other users nearby and stores, everything in a cloud album. The exciting moment has arrived to build live a version from the beta version and start getting real user data.
Job Description
As a Backend Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a highly visible, exciting and scalable end-user product that is built for the masses. You will bring fresh ideas and learn in all areas, including data science, machine learning, location tacking, photo proccessing and much more. You will work in a small agile team of experts that consists of a Product Manager/UX designer, iOS Developer, Android Developer and a Tester.
Job Requirements
Our client is looking for a backend developer that can design and build a secure and scalable backend system. You need to have demonstrable experience in developing such systems from inception to growth phase. You are an engineer with strong programming skills in one or more server-side technologies (most importantly Django and Python).
Additional knowledge of mobile app development (iOS or Android) is highly preferred.
You like to work in a dynamic environment and appreciate the freedom and responsibility of an entrepreneurial work style.
