EDIT:
Live threads allow new posts to be seen without refreshing the page. 
Only admins/mods can enalbe live threads (by default settings)

Its suppose to allow threads to update new posts without you having to refresh to see them

ok I see what it did there, auto showed new post without refreshing.

i dont know. It sometimes works and sometimes not

It is working on Microsoft edge

A lots of browsers are using Chromium as a base. Right know I am using Yandex which is some Russian one. As I can see Chromium under skin too.
