Bug with the embedded forum chat? - buran - Mar-28-2017 It looks like there is problem with the embedded forum chat (not that I have used it so far). Before there was text field to post your message, now I see "Post at least 0 forum messages to be able to use Forum Chat." and no text field at all. RE: Bug with the embedded forum chat? - wavic - Mar-28-2017 You are talking about #Chat link, next to Help? I just opened it and works. Google Chrome. Have you tried it with a different browser? I am going to test it later with Mozilla, Iron, Yandex, Brave and Min. No, the embedded chat widget on the home page, at the bottom. RE: Bug with the embedded forum chat? - metulburr - Mar-28-2017 That must be me. I was trying to allow guests to post by editing the code, but i thought i returned the code to the original state afterwords. Ill have to reupload the code, there must be an edit i missed resintating. RE: Bug with the embedded forum chat? - metulburr - Mar-28-2017 should be fixed now, thanks for the notice RE: Bug with the embedded forum chat? - buran - Mar-28-2017 yep, looks OK. :-) RE: Bug with the embedded forum chat? - metulburr - Apr-01-2017 Cant find the thread where I was talking about trying to allow guests to post on the forum....and couldnt. @[micseydel] However in that process too, i made awaiting activation accounts have access to posting, and reverted that now. Left the post count to 0 though still. we will see how that goes. But there would have to be a major uhaul over the shoutbox plugin to allow guests to post. It just isnt coded to be used by non-users. |
