SHA256 sum for Python 3 installers? - nathellburner - Sep-21-2020 Hello! I was looking at installing Python 3, but I try to verify any software I install with a sha256sum. On the python page they provide a MD5 hash, but nowhere could I find a sha256 sum. Anaconda provides sha256 claiming that it is more secure than MD5, so why does the official Python site not? Is there a way for me to get that value? RE: SHA256 sum for Python 3 installers? - Larz60+ - Sep-21-2020 We are not associated with the official python site python.org. you can express your concerns here: https://www.python.org/community/forums/ RE: SHA256 sum for Python 3 installers? - nathellburner - Sep-21-2020 Apologies for the mix up. |
