I'm using Python on Kubuntu and I'm very happy with it. This has been my favorite OS for the last 10 years.

I prefer windows as the best thing about windows laptop is that it is
flexible with hardware options. Moreover, you can make changes to your
laptop depending on your requirements. The Mac books are also great for
programming but hardware changes often cost you a fortune
