[attachment=2682] RE: subprocess.Popen() suddenly giving me grief? - Gribouillis - Dec-13-2023 Try to launch the program from a command line in a terminal, not from Python, to see if it works as expected. RE: subprocess.Popen() suddenly giving me grief? - davecotter - Dec-13-2023 it does not work in terminal either. note that it is on a network mapped drive, but that should not affect things, especially because i explicitly allowed that intratnet zone RE: subprocess.Popen() suddenly giving me grief? - davecotter - Dec-13-2023 when i move the AutoPin.exe to an internal drive, it DOES work. so it has something to do with the fact that it's on a network-mapped drive. but see my screen shot where you can see that i EXPLICITLY allow running apps from that drive
