Welcome to WYSIWYG editors. When you copy text from anywhere, it retains the color style in which converts that to HTML to be output as you see it when you copied it. However when you put that into a python code box with its own syntax highlighting it escapes the HTML and you actually see the HTML code.
There are two ways to remedy this. You can select remove formatting if you have already have put your code in the text editor. Or you can remove formatted text while posting it in the editor by pasting via keyboard Ctrl + Shift + V, or by GUI menu "Paste as plain text".
