python.org is the standard python.
I found this: https://bugs.python.org/issue19373, which claims the problem was fixed back in 2013.
Has it come back in the latest version? If so, you need to inform bugs.python.org

The idle issue is easy, don't use it. It's not all that good anyway. Use some other IDE.
