Hi guys, please direct me to another forum if I'm in the wrong place. Here's the synopsis:
-Boss gave me a little project, won't help me
-I have downloaded Cygwin, which is something similar to Linux on Windows, and that's where I'm coding.
-These are the instructions I'm following: http://www.ahay.org/wiki/Installation#Ge...structions
-I'm stuck on step 3 (user setup) as I have no idea how to add that line of code to my .bashrc or .profile files.
-If you look at step 1 (configuration), the directory I have installed madagascar in is cygdrive/d/madagascar-2.0-1.tar/madagascar-2.0-1/madagascar-2.0 rather than RSFSRC
-Any tips or the exact line of code I should write in Cygwin to fulfill step 3?
Again, main thing is I don't know if I should simply copy and paste that line of code "source ~/RSFSRC etc." but simply replace RSFSRC with my directory (listed above) or if there's anything else I need to type before or after to add this line to the .bashrc or .profile files.
I have been stuck for HOURS.
Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.
