It was in homework section, cleared stated it's a test question. I still believe it was better to guide him where to look for answer instead of giving the answer right away. IMHO, it's not RTFM type of answer.
Not to mention how annoyed I was from the attitude that was demonstrated afterwards. It was not me that expect him to guess the answer, but who ever teach him and who knows what was covered and he should know.
