Sanity Check about Python
#1
I was reading this article about what the Python core developers are planning to do now that the BDFL as stepped down. According to the mailing list, they have set dates to accomplish certain tasks.

The problem with the article and I didn't realize it at first, is that the author uses a reddit comment to make an assumption about Python users. It states:

Quote:Many Python users are worried about this decision

Is it in correct to say Python users are worried? This thread would seem to indicate there isn't much to worry about, and Python isn't likely to die over this.

It just doesn't sit well that the author would take a comment and use it to make a generalization about users.
