Newbie help with input

Paste the lines into the command line, one line at a time:
  1. paste val = input("Enter your value: ") & press enter
  2. enter your input at the prompt
  3. paste print(val) & press enter

Python 3.7.3 (v3.7.3:ef4ec6ed12, Mar 25 2019, 22:22:05) [MSC v.1916 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> val = input("Enter your value: ")
Enter your value: Yoriz
>>> print(val)
Yoriz
