Syntax highlighted code

I assume it's me doing something wrong, but anyway:
if I try to insert shcode (using 'Insert a shcode' buton) it is not syntax highlighted or even preformated as code:
[shcode=python]
def foo():
    pass
[/shcode]




No problem to insert syntax highlighted python code with the 'Python' code button:

def foo():
    pass
