I have a regular bank debit card, gave up on credit cards when mine was compromised twice in the same year. The only thing I use my bank card for it to purchase
groceries, and prepaid debit cards which I buy in relatively small amounts and use for all internet purchases, and also at Microcenter, which is my favorite toy store.
The cost is a flat $4.95, which I am willing to pay, just for the peace of mind I have using the card online.
The only problem is that the ed of each month, I end up with several cards with anywhere from 10 cents to 10 dollars on them which I throw in a cigar box, because
there's not a lot that you can do with them. If they were over $2.00, I used to take them to McDonald's to purchase fries or something like that. I have been on a gluten
free, sugar free diet for quite some time now, so can't go there anymore.
At any rate, if one get's compromised, it will make me angry, but not so much as when my credit card was.
