Not sure what you're trying to accomplish here:
    filename, "D:\maharera", "D:\maharera\copy" = argv[1:]
did you mean:
    filename = argv[1]
What does argv look like?
also, something has changed as line number and code don't match
this statement:
if __main__ == "__main__":
needs to be:
if __name__ == '__main__':
