Display image from URL
#1
Hi All,

I try to display an image from a URL but that doesn't seem to work.
do I have to download it first before I display ?

from tkinter import *
from PIL import ImageTk, Image
import os

root = Tk()
imgURL = 'https://www.marketbeat.com/scripts/temp/estimateswide4879.png'
img = ImageTk.PhotoImage(Image.open(imgURL))
panel = Label(root, image = img)
panel.pack(side = "bottom", fill = "both", expand = "yes")
root.mainloop()
