Loops maybe

Loops are the exact way to go - I would recommend a for loop for this (although a while loop would work just as well).

If you are really stuck, here is a starting point.

Hide/Show

item_amount = int(input("Enter the number of items: ")) #ask for the number of items the user has
price = 0 #intialize price variable and set it to 0

for increment in range(0, item_amount): #the amount of times this will loop will depend on the amount the user enters
  price += int(input("Enter the price of the item: ")) #this will run over and over again until the loops is over. it will add the price of the item to 'price' and then set'price' to the new amount.

print("Total price is:", price) #prints total price
