I work for a Software House in Cornwall, UK. We specialise in long-term projects for clients across the world. Right now, we're in the middle of expanding a few of our teams. Primarily, our Python-based team of just over 60 is growing... again!
If you have solid experience working within the Python framework then this may be the job for you. We are also interested in anybody who has a hankering for Go as well.

About the Job
Headforwards are looking for a Python developer to join an existing Agile software development team.
Developers with commercial experience in similar or related languages are encouraged to apply.
This role will involve working on the backend of a very exciting and cutting edge web application, in the cloud arena, for one of the largest companies in the world.
Essential experience and attributes:
Optional Experience
We are working with some pretty cool new technologies, which we don’t expect you to have experience of.
However, if you do, please let us know. For example, Docker containers, Kafka, Elastic Search, MongoDB, InfluxDB…
Hours:
Monday – Friday
0900 – 1730 with a one-hour lunch break.
Location:
Near Redruth, Cornwall, UK
Salary:
£25,000 – £45,000 Dependent on experience.

- Some knowledge of non-relational (NoSQL) databases (we use MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB)
- Some knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of the web application stack
- Experience working with development team tools (e.g. continuous integration systems (we use Jenkins) and version control systems (we use Git))
