How to append integers from file to list?

Hello team,

I would like to make a list with the numbers from this file:
.txt

message.txt (Size: 86 bytes / Downloads: 98)

I can't seem to find anything online, tried these two sources:

but they append all the numbers as one string in the list. Wall

Could you please assist?
