How do I find IRC

How do I find you on mIRC?
I tryed to add the server and channel to it, but it would not take it It said that it was not any site by that name.

as long as you are freenode server you can just switch channels via the input box

/join #python-forum

If you didnt join freenode server then you wouldnt find it anyways
Make sure you join 

irc.freenode.net

then after you can join the channel

Thanks, I got it, not much was going on in their. But it is late.

its always dead. The only time people join is 1) asking for help with homework, and they jump off minutes later before someone can respond, and 2) when the forum goes down.

Yes the active users write more in the forums, the chat is more used as a safety fall-back.

If you want to chat about python, there are more channels available, for example #python
