by default functions return None. sometimes i like to be nasty and do return (None,). or worse, sometimes i just get evil and do return 666*(None,).

What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. Two languages? Bilingual. One language? American.

Sometimes it's good to explicit return None.
It's just for the reader.
