I would not do that if I were you. It is part of macOS and there are occasionaly some dependencies on it.
I have 2.7, 3.5, 3.6.5, and 3.7 installed on my 15"rMBP running macOS 10.14 Mojave. I have aliases set in my bash profile so that my preferred version is run when I enter just python.
