Scikit Image Processing
#1
I'm trying to use Python to process a batch of photos and sort the images into categories. I'm a newbie at Python, but what I have read gives me hope that my goals are achievable.

I would like to speak with someone more familiar with this subject to discuss the possibilities, my thoughts on what I would like to do, what will or will not work, etc.

You will likely need to be a lot more specific with what you are trying to accomplish to find much help here.

"In the 60s, Marvin Minsky assigned a couple of undergrads to spend the summer programming a computer to use a camera to identify objects in a scene. He figured they'd have the problem solved by the end of the summer. Half a century later, we're still working on it."
