in the documentation:
i am wondering how it can get a higher version of the python interpreter. does it have its own repository online to download from? what architectures does it have?
Quote:Activating the virtual environment will change your shell’s prompt to show what virtual environment you’re using, and modify the environment so that running python will get you that particular version and installation of Python.i need to be concerned with this because i already have things the change my shell's prompt at every command and already have a complex environment management system that could conflict with what the virtual environment is doing. that document does not describe how this stuff is done, leaving it as a black box. but, what i really need is a transparent box so that i can be on the outside looking in.
