Calling chunks of code

Is there a way in python to assign a set of functions, a/o actions to a variable that i can call to and run instead of copy/pasting the same chunk of code over and over?

I recommend you go through some of the basic python tutorials that are out there, they will get you up and running. Really it's tutorials first then forums once you are well and truly stuck. Forums can be a very frustrating first port of call... do what you can using google first.
