I was wondering if their is a lite version of anaconda for python to put on a USB?

I think when you install anaconda, it has a place to select download directory.
Not sure, but I bet if you specify USB stick it will work.
Also not sure about abbreviated version.

There is Miniconda.
So it comes without all packages that Anaconda has.
Can build with conda or pip to get packages wanted.
Example:
conda install scipy pandas requests numpy jupyter
