Hey all!
I had a few questions on getting started in Python, specifically for finance.
Quick background: I have a passion for finance and the stock market (stock, options, futures) and have a bachelors in finance. I'm currently in the financial services industry as an investment consultant and am interested in learning Python to enhance my fascination for the stock market / trading as well as exploring a different career path in the finance industry that includes Python.
* I have no experience coding
1. What are good courses or videos (free or paid) to begin learning the basics?
2. What advice would you give someone just getting started?
3. For someone with a busy career, what would be a consistent schedule to learn and retain coding?
4. What are some career opportunities in finance that include Python?
Any feedback or advice would be appreciated!
