Software Integration Engineer Infotainment (m/f/x) - at the location Ulm
Within the strong connected integration team, you are responsible for assembling the navigation software components supplied by the 1st Tier supplier and developed inhouse. You regularly prepare and accomplish pre-integration and test the software functionality, especially with the focus on interfaces of the components (build release). Goal is to prepare the navigation unit for overall integration into the infotainment unit's software. The integration team is also working on continuous test automation, i.e. test results need to be analyzed and evaluated with the aim of improving the test environment and internal tools, further developing them and automating the final solution. In addition, the team acts like a quality gate for the entire navigation software. The team works agile and according to Scrum. The navigation platform runs on Linux, the build framework is YOCTO, the programming and scripting languages are Python and BASH and the automation tool for continuous integration is Jenkins. In this role you have a chance to be part of a very diversely environment of the most innovative navigation features within the market like augmented reality or hyper-connected multimedia.
What we expect from you („must have“)
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or comparable professional experience
Excellent programming experience in Python
Excellent understanding of Linux OS
Proven experience in continuous Integration (Jenkins)
Strong communication in business-fluent English
What we are looking for (“nice to have”)
Experience in YOCTO Build Framework
Proven Know-How in test engineering and testing
Good C++ programming skills
Java, PHP & HTML programming skills are a good benefit
