Python 3.8 on mac failing to start

hi there,
I hope this is the right place to get help on install issues.
I am on a mac, using brew to install the azure cli that depends on the pyhton 3.8 package.
The cli fails to start and also the python interpreter, here is the command that the error


/usr/local/opt/[email protected]/bin/python3
Fatal Python error: config_get_locale_encoding: failed to get the locale encoding: nl_langinfo(CODESET) failed
Python runtime state: preinitialized

Can anyone give me some help please ?
