I'm starting to think I know more than you guys about Python. on here for days and nothing from u guys except "read the manual"

I am done. Good luck solving your problem.
As to why we are here - read who are we. It's not our job or obligation or whatever you think it is... It's your homework, your problem and you demonstrate absolute lack of effort to learn and solve the problem you have. One again - good luck.

Lol thanks for the help guys.

Anyone who actually knows Python here who can help?

you guys were so quick to attack me for not following rules that you were both wrong.

buran was wrong thinking I was using a different SQL statement.

The other guy was wrong thinking fetchall() can't be used.

Please - only people who know what they are talking about. When you start talking on things you don't know about - you confuse people like me even more.

yes, and I admitted I have make a mistake the moment I released. And the reason was that you were posting images and we need to switch between different tabs to get the whole picture.
And the link I provided answers your question if ONLY you make the effort the read it!

We guys are here for helping you, @card51shor. This type of attitude is not tolerated in this forum.
You think you are smarter than us, yet you ask these questions in the forum. And the manual as you have described can actually be helpful for you. If you know more about us on python, you should just read the manual and solve the code on your own. How do you expect people who you think who know lesser than you to solve your code?

Fair enough, I also got it wrong with SQLAlchemy, but the point about showing some effort still remains.

It's irritating when somewhen enters this forum and just trolls us or python. This is a fact that needs to be changed - it doesn't seem like these guys go through the rules, or they just ignore them

I'm sorry it just seems like you guys aren't trying to help - just lecture and scold me for not following rules that I don't know. I have to study a handbook just to talk to you guys? Cmon be human beings.

I don't think I'm smarter than you guys I just think you guys don't know Python.

Are you guys tutors or hall monitors? I never went to a tutor before and had them throw the manual in my face and say "READ THIS".

I can read a million things on the internet. U guys don't think I haven't tried that? That's why I'm here - I couldn't figure it out so now I need human help. What are u guys here for if you're saying just read the manual?

I've been talking to buran for about 2-3 weeks now and he hasn't even tried to assist me. But he's posted 50 times about how I posted my code in an incorrect format.

"We devote our free time to helping people learn Python."

That's a damn lie. I've been on here for weeks asking about simple thing like syntax and I just get shouted at.

Your first post EVER on the forum is on 6 June 10:45 PM my time, the same day you join the forum - that is less than 5 days ago. So, no you are not talking with me for 2-3 weeks. And yes, I will keep asking you to follow the rules, that you agreed to follow when you registered with the forum. If you are not able to follow simple rules as anyone else here on the forum, then probably you should find another place to search for help.

OK well honestly I'd rather have "help" from someone else other than you. All you do is yell at people and make them feel dumb.

Not one bit of help from you. Linking to a manual is not helping.

obviously I've already used a manual to get where I am.

People like you, who are arrogant and have a bad attitude are the people. You have to follow the forum rules in posting a thread, and if someone refers to a site for you to go through, there must be a reason he has done so. You just are one of those people who stay stubborn and don't follow some advice. You're lucky you haven't been warned or banned from this forum already. And as @buran rightly mentioned, you haven't been online for a week, and you say that the thread was posted 2-3 weeks ago.

We aren't either, we are a group/forum with python coders from all around the world where we help people to solve a thread, or we clarify our doubts.

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT WE ARE ON THEIS FORUM IF WE DON'T KNOW PYTHON?
