Marking everything as read
#1
Hallo,

Im new here, and that may be the reason I am not understanding this, but here it goes:

When I clicked on the "General Coding Help" forum, it all appeared in color as if it was unread. But after entering in a single post, all of them appear now greyed out. So I can't tell which are pending to be read.

When I entered in Board, the effect is just the contrary. Even after entering in different posts, they remain in color.

Am I missing something?

Thank you very much in advance.

This should not happen. Maybe just a fluke? There is however a link in the forum that allows you to mark all threads read in each forum. Did you by any chance click that?

Hallo Mautlburr, and thanks.

No, I did not press the button. The same issue is happening now in "Board" and in any other forum branch that I try.

Could it be a default behaviour? So that the first time you enter in a branch everything is marked as read and only from them on only the new posts are left unread? That seems to be happening now in "General Coding for Help" where there new ones show properly.
