Looking for a straightforward Python gui

Hello everyone,
I new to Python, moving from R. I am looking for a straightforward gui where I can just write my scripts, test, and save them. Something like a simple Rgui, or visual C++. All I do is data manipulation and statistical analyses. I am finding the Python setup to be somewhat bewildering.

Sounds like you want/ you'd like WinPython it has Spyder/ Jupyter Lab, NumPy, SciPy and Qt5 in a 1 button install basicly. And its installation is pretty much portable.
Theres also Anaconda , which is a similar comprehnsive ML/ Data Science platform.
Its 100% free for individuals and if you work with R then this might be more appropriate, but if your learning then WinPython can be more convenient

If that sounds like a mess, dont worry its unbelievably quick and easy, aswell as being a comprehensive foundation.
Theres also loads of tutorial videos and etc that dive right into it, where it really is almost just 1 button to get it up and running.
Also I know barely anything about anything, but JupyterLab works on like a server based system, where it runs a local server running your workspaces ane etc, for you to access through basiclly its web app interface, so you can work on it from your pc 'like normal' or your phone , aswell as share stuff over net.
Or Spyder is the more offline dev environment, with more features and cool stuff than you an find uses for. They both have their preferred use cases, but are both incredibly versatile and productive.
