RaspPi and 3.9

I have a RasPi 400, and wanted to upgrade it from Python 2.7.16, but I can't find a version to download. Am I missing something, or is there not a version of 3.9 for Raspberry Pi OS?

In Terminal enter:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install python3 idle3

hit enter
