Been having this problem last 3 days. Never had anything to do with this, decided to start learning python and run into problems straight away.
Installed python 3.9.1 on to my windows 8.1 x64, but the python wont run for various reasons, first few were missing .dll files(api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1.1.0, maths, and some others), have sourced them and added to the system32 folder. Updated windows with latest update, run antivirus check, did DISM health check through command prompt, re-installed vc_redist.x64 2015-2019, re-started laptop after every process, tried installing older versions of python, newer versions and comes back with same error. I`ve run a software to check which files are missing to successfully run python but cannot find x64 bit versions of the .dll files that are missing or corrupt. I will include error message with log of missing dll files.
Will appreciate a lot if anyone can shine some light on this, spent hours and hours trying to get this resolved but failed miserably.
