Logitech PTZ help
#1
I have an old Logitech webcam with microphone and pan/tilt capability.
The camera and mic works but I don't know how to make it move in python.
It comes up in lsusb as 046d:08c2 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam PTZ. I may be
beating a dead horse here, but if anybody has got one of these moving I
would be grateful for any suggestions. It's an old product and I'm sure it
was never intended for use on Linux, but that's all I use. Don't know if it's
stepper or servo driven either.

I don't know if there's anything relevant here, nevertheless, take a look at: https://askubuntu.com/questions/85763/ho...itech-quic

I found that too - it doesn't work or I don't understand it. Mostly the UVCDYNCTRLEXEC="/usr/bin/uvcdynctrl" reference. I also found an intriguing post at https://funprojects.blog/2019/11/23/pan-...ot-webcam/ , if I could figure that out it's just what I need. Thanks for looking though!
