many people are OK with pressing 3 keys to type the assignment symbol. i'm not one of them. i'd sooner go back to C. maybe even assembly. i might make something new, instead. but now that i have experienced the Python of this universe, i'll stay here.

What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. Two languages? Bilingual. One language? American.

Are you saying you wouldn't notice, because an altered past would create an alternate present which we wouldn't be a part of, and thus wouldn't even know exists?
Or that history would have been rewritten, and you would have no memory of ever using = for assignment, and thus the change wouldn't have been noticeable to you?

Very different things (the Avengers time travel theory vs the Back to the Future/Terminator theory of time travel), yet the outcome in this instance happens to be the same.
