Is it possible to turn off the popups with the content of the post? They're really annoying.

My start page here is View Today's Posts. If you move the mouse there, there are overlays with 7 lines of the post.

It's not pop-ups but Tooltip when move mouse over a Thread.
Tooltip Wrote:Tooltip is a concept used in HTML for showing some extra information about the specifically selected element.
This can be done on the mouse hover effect whenever the user moves the mouse
over an element that is using a tooltip to display specified information about that element.
If scroll with mouse and not hold over any Threads then do no get Tooltip info.
So should only have mouse over if want more info without clicking on Thread.
Tootip is part of the Theme design, not heard of anyone else complain about this.
It possible to turn off,but it's a help if use it Tooltip correct,so will wait and see what other say.

I think tooltips are more helpful than harmful, especially with new users. And it helps mods filter out mundane questions on how-to's on the forum.

Edit
I think the quick snippet of the post is actually a plugin I added awhile back.

Thread Tooltip Preview Wrote:Allows users to preview the content of a thread via a tooltip, similar to vBulletin.
I think is ok to have on,it's no bother is just scroll with mouse aside, only use mouse over if need more info.
