Installing lxml and getting this warning

[Led_Zeppelin]

I am running 64 bit Windows 10. I am trying to install lxml with the follwinng command

pip install lxml 

When I do that I get the following error.

Error:
WARNING: Error parsing requirements for beautifulsoup4: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'c:\\users\\james\\miniconda3\\envs\\base-dup\\lib\\site-packages\\beautifulsoup4-4.9.3.dist-info\\METADATA'

I also get some note that I will now show.

Output:

As I said I am using python on Windows 10.

A simple conda list command will show that lxml is already installed.

What is going on? Can it find the lxml?

In a post that I made yesterday, I pointed out the error (actually a warning). It was printed as shown;

What is going on? I agree that the directory METADATA does not exist. Everything, but METADATA exists.

I have

So when I was installing lxml it gave me this warning. Since the install was pip install lxml, why did it not just create the directory?

For Beautifulsoup you have only the dummy package
lxml is ok.
You most remember to always active environment base-dup.
To test use first code in Web-Scraping part-1 this code will test if these 3 libraries work.

You most activate environment as mention.
So you should see (base-dup) only now is environment active.

(base-dup)  C:\Users\james\miniconda3

Most make sure that work like this from command line(cmd) before using any editor as then can point to wrong environment.
Have to learn how environment(virtual) work when working with miniconda.

Now come on man. Give me some credit. I have been using virtual environments for over two years and I know that to run a program that uses a specific virtual environment, the analyst must first activate said environment. There i no alternative.

it is only after I activate and run the programs do I see errors. I am attaching a screenshot to show you.

I always activate base-dup before doing anything requiring the base-dup virtual environment.

I am going to create a new virtual environment since the base-dup cannot be repaired for running beautifulsopu4.

Also, what is the difference between beautifullesoup4 and bs4?
