New Users Introduce Yourself
Hello All,

I'm moving towards a career change slowly but surely and hopefully in to the world of Data Science or Programming.

I did take a C++ course in college but that was ages ago but that experience already seems to be helping me from a logic standpoint.

Either way I'm here as this looks like a great resource for Python coding questions.

I'm currently working through some Python lessons and I am enjoying it a lot. I'm also brushing up on my Linear Algebra too as the ultimate plan is to move towards an MS in Data Science down the road.

I'm sure I'll have a lot of stupid questions to ask as I progress on my Python journey.

Hello, I have learned today that if you don't post you can and will be deleted. So I shall say hello. I am a sys admin and several other things, any day they pay me to program is a good day. I don't always get to use one of the languages I like, sometimes I am stuck with the ones no one likes... php I'm looking at you, but still paid to program. Not a bad place to be.

Hello everyone,,
Very, very, very new here and with Python. In a couple of weeks I will start to learn Python with the help with Udemy and I will learn from dr. Angela Yu, I saw some video's and people are very glad with her.

Why Python, because when I saw and read how people working on Python (and other skills) I got really excited! I did some research and more excitement.

But a little bit about myself, my name is Loy, 34 years old, live in the Netherlands with my wife, little daughter of 2 years old and our 3 year old dog. The last 7 years I'm working as an administration worker and more and more I wanted to find something else. First I wanted to be a graphic designer and still wanna learn that too, but coding is what I really want. So I will start the first Udemy course in an couple of weeks and will be learning more and more. For now I found it difficult because I want to learn quick and get some little jobs or help someone and that will help me. But I need to be patient and hopefully end of this year it will be enough to get the little jobs.

Maybe that some people here can help me to get there. I'm even thinking to document my process (video and/or text) and help maybe others.

If people have questions ask and I will try to answer.

See you around!

Hi everyone,

I'm a French guy (sorry for my English mistakes Big Grin ), who did for almost 10 years Java programming.
I'm in a state of mind where I want/need some changes.

So I'm sort of new to Python even if I already did some webscrapping project for myself.

I hope to find good discussion here.

See you space cowboys
