The reason I didn't post ALL of the output from my attempt to install python3.10 was because it overflowed the buffer on my command terminal. I could not go back far enough to get all of it. Yes, I was using the desktop GUI and popped up a terminal.
With so much going wrong and much of it was because my OS has Python3.7, I decided to just do a OS refresh. Going back to download a fresh release, I discovered that this past Jan 28, 2022 (just 3 days ago) there was a new release of Raspberry OS and it has Python3.9.2. I found it has pendulum also, so that solves that problem.
So, Please allow me to close this thread.
