Simple python programs for beginners

Firstly apologies but I'm a relatively newbie to python and I hsve mastered making a basic digital clock with python and that's about as far as I have got.im greatly impressed with the collective knowledge of everyone on this forum so would appreciate some guidance on what recommended projects for a newbie like me to try next and if possible signpost me to appropriate tutorials.
