Regarding file editing

Thank you for the input Larz :D
I am using VS Code, and the 'terminal' there is just PowerShell... no?

No,i have used cmder for many years.
The full cmder version get a shell that equally good as Terminal in Linux.
Also do this Shortcut to open Cmder in a chosen folder
then can drop in from File Explorer(right click) directly to folder that you are in.

The other route is to use Windows Subsystem for Linux(WSL).
I have both,cmder is still my daily shell that i use most.
