coding bootcamp question
#1
Question
I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I'm feeling stuck in a rut. This might be long so bear with me...

I began my python journey about a year and a half ago. This journey began after 20+years in Networking. No formal training, read some chapters in some books, read google, stack overflow..whatever resource I could find to get me unstuck from where i was.

I began my journey utilizing python to interact with Palo Alto firewalls. I probably have written 12 pieces of code that are fully functional and have been rolled out and other groups use my automation to save time. From that I was able to then interact with other API's and do simple pulls/pushes of data into Cloudflare, and a few little AWS interactions with S3 buckets, nothing major, but stuff that filled a need for me and my team.

Over the past year and a half, what little time I have spent doing my coding has been way more mentally stimulating and way more enjoyable than I could have imagined, as well as being more fun than Networking.. Although it definitely can be just as frustrating at times. Getting past those challenges is really a great feeling. Even on simple code that I'm writing.

I know i have so much more to learn, and I'm trying to weigh the benefit of a boot camp course to help keep me moving forward in my journey. I'm just curious if anyone has any opinions good ( if you took one and liked it, or have hired candidates from a specific camp) or bad ( stay away, or candidates from x program aren't prepared).

I'm an older person (47), so I actually dont mind a school environment, I'm not doing well doing only self study, free study and online (udemy, coursera..etc) because i have a family and 4 kids.. not a ton of real quiet personal time .. therefore; Im thinking an in person boot camp might be a good option for me to be able to really dig in and expand my knowledge in Python.

Im just curious what others have done or opinions on any specific boot camps.
