Python project - sport results

Hello,

I compete with my friend in various racket sports. These are: Tennis, Badmintor, Table Tennis, Squash.

I want to create an application to enter match results and then generate different statistics from those matches.
Please help in creating a general step-by-step description of how to create these types of applications. I have good knowledge of python programming but probably i don’t know other technologies which I need and I don’t know how to make it a whole.

Operation of the application:
1. Choice of discipline
2. Entering the result of the match
3. Updating statistics and displaying current statistics for a specific discipline and for the whole
