You may need to clarify a bit bit more, as I don't know what a "v looking thing" looks like, nor what you mean by Pycharm's "console". Are you referring to the code entry area, the output area or the Python command line area (showing ">>>" prompt)?
If it ain't broke, I just haven't gotten to it yet.
