I am using the code below to try and understand how to be able to select the data in the first column of a treeview irrespective of where in the row I click.
If you look at the function selectItem, you can see that this will print the item in the selected cell in the selected row, but what I want is to always be able to retrieve the contents of the first column of the selected row.
Any idea on how I could do that? I have spent the entire day on this with no luck.
