Dim theme
#1
Most users use the default white theme. However we have a dark theme called Dim that is available. However that is usually put on the back burner for adjustments. I would like to tweak that and fix it up.

For those that use the dark theme....what are the issues with the dark theme that you have?

issues:
  • editor remains white instead of dark-ish
  • custom BBcodes error ad output tags are bright colored
  • fast quote image not showing
  • codebox does not show properly fixed
  • Discussions user link not shown in dim theme fixed
  • shoutbox at bottom of index (moved to link at bottom like in default theme)

Not looked so much at dim theme.
SyntaxHighlighter did not load for that theme, so i fixed that in headerinclude.

If you remember so did i build several theme for SyntaxHighlighter in this post.
Fade to gray or midnight the had been better for dim theme.

I have changed to Fade to gray for dim theme.

ideally i would like to darken all. textarea of the editor and all our custom tags, etc.

test
Quote:quote
Error:
error
Output:
output
inline

EDIT:
the codebox for me shows as the default theme (bright). Is this suppose to alter the theme base on which theme the user is currently on?

ah yeah i forgot about that. the codebox works for me now

Yeah i see you changed Dim's codeblock CSS to darker. I guess i am a little late. Didn't work? Im not sure why as stranacs plugin seems to account for that. Unless it is somehow stuck on defaul theme's CSS

Did not see changes if you did some.
Remeber what i did it's not just darken,it's full a theme change of SyntaxHighlighter.
As you see now Ctrl+F5 testing Theme Midnight.

If you look so have i duplicate dim theme 4 times.
1 theme with Dark of fade and 1 with Midnight theme to each.
The we can test out stuff and look and not overwrite each other.

To choose a Theme:
Users CP --> Edit Option --> Other Option --> Board Style
I have made a test with snippsat_default_midnight,that can be tested out.
Other Theme are not finish.
This Theme is based color around the blue Midnight theme.
A dark version is what i try next.

As see @metulburr so did i copy Default theme and start to work with that.
For me this was simpler to get stuff like sidebar Python icon working.
There are quite many color combination to think of when doing this,
a darker on may be easier Confused
